I bet you like dogs like us. These four-legged friends are loyal, adorable and full of love and joy. The first thing you do when you see a dog is start smiling, right? He is “man’s best friend” – an extraordinary partner for life. It is hard for many of us to believe that there are places where people eat dog meat. Hearing this may shock you, but it is unfortunately true. Fortunately, you are not the only one who first thought of helping after hearing the news.

In the fall of 2018, Simon Cowell, judge and dog lover of America’s Got Talent, donated more than $32,000 to Humane Society International (HSI) in the United Kingdom. Simon said that the reason he made this donation is that eating dogs is like eating his best friend. He also said that if everyone meets through social media, there will be enough people to listen to what is happening in the world today. Thanks to Simon’s donation, at the end of September 2018, more than 200 dogs were saved from slaughter. The HSI charity has already closed 12 dog farms and prevented nearly 1,400 dogs from becoming dog meat by the end of September 2018.
